Dynamics SL Solutions Manager

Your role as a Dynamics SL Solutions Manager (SM) will be focused on managing and growing relationships at key accounts to drive revenue and client satisfaction. You possess expert functional knowledge and skills in Dynamics GL (Solomon) and you have the ability to apply this knowledge to improve the lives of your customers. As the SM, you will coordinate ongoing preventative maintenance, process improvement and professional management balanced to the specific challenges for each of your clients.

Position Description:

  • Stay up to date with MS Dynamics SL functionality including analysis of future versions ability to satisfy unmet client requirements.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities to improve current functionality and business process to meet clients’ goals.
  • Generate targeted revenues from assigned clients.
  • Continually assess new business opportunities through client feedback.
  • Plan and manage client support projects, including scheduling, timesheet approval, B2A and collections.
Desired Qualifications:
  • 5+ years experience implementing Dynamics SL Financial, Project, and/or Distribution modules.
  • Microsoft Dynamics SL Certification preferred.
  • 4 year degree in Accounting, business, or equivalent. MBA or CPA a plus.
  • CFO, Controller or Accounting Manager background preferred.
  • Track record of working successfully within a team environment and completing deliverables on time, within scope at or below budget.
  • Excellent presentation, written and oral communication skills plus the ability to multi-task.
  • Experience with reporting tools: Crystal, FRx, and Report Writer.
  • Extensive budget management experience.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Detail oriented, strong analytical, numerical, planning and reasoning abilities.
  • Dynamics GP, SharePoint, CRM and Open Air experience a plus.
  • Local knowledge of SF Bay Area.

Implementation Consultant

You are the backbone of our team. Customers see you as the one that makes all the magic happen by rolling up your sleeves and diving in. You are a sponge and know what you need to do to get the job done and where to go if you have questions.

Position Description:
  • Assist in the gathering of business requirements.
  • Understand scope of client project implementation and manage time and resources accordingly.
  • Provide training for end user clients across product line.
  • Setup testing environments and perform system testing.
  • Write financial and operational reports using reporting tools.
  • Become familiar with measuring performance utilizing a metrics/indicators system.
Desired Qualifications:
  • 3-7 years professional experience with at least 2 years working as part of a project team.
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills – written, verbal and interpersonal.
  • Must be detail oriented and organized.
  • Write financial and operational reports using reporting tools.
  • Proactive, self-directed and team oriented.
  • BS or BA in Accounting or Business, but will consider others.
  • Ability to manage individual budget and scope of work.
  • Strong user of MS Office including Project and Visio, Excel, Word.
  • Previous implementation of Dynamics GP (Great Plains) or Dynamics SL (Solomon).
  • Previous work experience in accounting.
  • Local knowledge of Bay Area market.

Project Manager

As a Project Manager, you play a key role in the success of our company. Customers will look to you as the leader of their entire initiative. Coworkers will know that you are the one that they can depend on to get the job done. You ensure that projects are completed on time, on budget and within scope, seemingly effortlessly. A tall order for some, just another day for someone like you.

Day to day, your role will be to act as a liaison externally with customers and internally with implementation consultants, sales, development, customer-service and support teams to monitor the progress and success of your assigned projects. In addition, you may be involved in methodology development and maintenance, business and process analysis, training, and troubleshooting of many types of problems. You will never be bored.

Position details:

  • Responsible for planning and directing all work activities leading to the defined solution, of large projects, multiple mid-sized financial and ERP systems implementation projects, or key deliverables; based upon the Microsoft’s Dynamics GP (Great Plains) or SL (Solomon) product line.
  • Responsible for defining scope and content of project and identifying project deliverables and milestones.
  • Act as primary interface with client regarding project status, budget, scope and issues that arise.
  • Work closely with client and project team to identify and assure delivery against key business milestones.
  • Manage client expectations.
  • Monitor and refine Kono’s Methodology and Project Management practices
Desired Qualifications:
  • 6-8 years experience with at least 4 years of project management experience, within the Accounting/ ERP solutions field; Dynamics GP (Great Plains) and/or Dynamics SL (Solomon) experience preferred, but we will consider other mid-sized ERP systems.
  • Successfully managed multiple mid-sized financial and ERP systems implementation projects, or key deliverables from concept to deployment.
  • BS or BA in Business, Marketing, Accounting or equivalent.
  • Excellent written, oral and interpersonal skills and the ability to multi-task.
  • Extensive background presenting to senior level executives.
  • Very strong customer relationship skills.
  • Clear understanding of the roles and responsibilities of client leaders (CFO, Controller, etc.)
  • Experienced with measuring performance utilizing a metrics/indicators system.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized.
  • Expert user of MS Project and Visio, Excel, Word and Microsoft specific web sites.
  • SharePoint, CRM and Open Air experience a plus.
